Time magazin's introduction for president Mahinda Rajapaksa is as follows;
"Since ending Sri Lanka's 26-year-long war against the Tamil Tigers in 2009, and grabbing control over once independent institutions like commissions on human rights and elections, Mahinda Rajapaksa has come to dominate the institutions of his nation more than any other democratically elected head of state. He challenged the U.S., the European Union and the U.N. to prosecute him for war crimes, confident that Russia, China and India would not support it — the latter two have billions of investment at stake in Sri Lanka."
You may also vote for president Rajapaksa by following given links below. In the verge of Ban ki Moon’s especial report on false war crimes allegations for the government and military of Sri Lanka, this is good opportunity to show our solidarity to the president. Each vote will not only a vote for this great leader, but vote of confidence/defend for the country. First round of voting close on 14Th April. But you can vote for second round till April 21st.

- The 2011 TIME 100 Poll Results
P.S. (Updated on April 14th)
First round of voting ended with Sri Lankan president climbed to 6th position. The only politician to be in top 10.
Now Time magazine says people can vote until 21st. In the same time they says "TIME 100 list has now closed (with Rain as the 2011 readers' choice). If the poll is closed why they allow people to continue work? Is this the way America conduct elections too?
Is this a real daylight "COMPUTER GILMAL" of Time magazine/CNN because they are upset of MR coming to top 10 beating Obama, Hillary etc?
Lets keep our fingers crossed, but continue to vote till April 21st in order to push Sri Lankan president further up.
