There is a deal to be settled by the West with Mahinda Rajapaksa in the forthcoming presidential election and they are desperately working on it in the background in the last couple of months.
Winning over terrorism without West’s consent:
We all know that the political leadership of the West lead by Norway, UK and France strongly opposed military operation against LTTE terrorism. They had been supporting Tamil separatism for over two decades targeting politico-economic gains in a separate Ealam territory. It was a big investment from their side and they did not want to see the end of the war before they get full return for their money.
West’s futile rescue operation:
British Foreign Secretary David Miliband and French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner rushed to Sri Lanka on April 29 to meet President Mahinda Rajapaksa in a final bid to influence him to suspend military operations against LTTE terrorists. Their visit came after the European Union called for an immediate ceasefire in Sri Lanka. Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt, who was due to accompany the European ministers, said he was denied an entry visa by the Sri Lankan government, a claim later diplomatically rejected by Bogollagama, who said Bildt did not apply for a visa.
Mahinda did not even bother to come to Colombo and officially discuss with them. Instead they had to meet Mahinda at the bank of Chandrika Lake at Ambilipitiya where president involved in an official ceremony.
This not only showed them that the political epi-centre was moving from Colombo to the deep South, but also the fact that the new political leadership would not bow to the political pressure of the West. The Miliband-Kouchner political cousins left Sri Lanka empty handed and two weeks later Sri Lankan government officially declared the military victory over LTTE terrorism killing all the top level LTTE military leadership including terrorist supremo Piripaharan.
Taking political revenge:
The West now thinks that they must take the revenge by way of a regime change in Sri Lanka. They do not care whom to support as long as their evil wish of revenge is first fulfilled. That’s why they have secretly brought hand picked Sarath Fonseka, a puppet character from Ambalangoda to challenge Mahinda. Western plutocracy has already penetrated the ranks of JVP resulting absurd unity between UNP and JVP leadership.
Support of INGO:
Immediately after the candidacy of Fonseka was declared, all the INGO’s and their media front rallied right behind Fonseka giving their unconditional support. INGOs clearly know the direction of Western wind that brings Dollars and Krone for them.
The economic threat to the West from Mahinda:
More than eighty percent of the effort and focus of Rajapaksa government in last four years was on the fight against terrorism. Even while waging a war, Rajapaksa government successfully implemented radical economic reforms in the country. Rajapaksa government put hold to the privatization process. Not a single government institution was privatized during his term.
Challenge to the multinational business mafia:
Adding to the injury, the multi national companies that were involved in illegal deals were penalized as well. The nullifying of privatization of bunkering in Colombo harbor to JKH was one such deal. We all know that West has heavily invested for this so called blue chip multinational company. Revoking of Sri Lanka airlines, Sri Lanka Insurance, Fingara Golf club deal and many other acts by Rajapaksa government hurt Western countries because their investors had interests on those deals.
It all happened while Mahinda’s main focus was on fight against terrorism. Now the terrorism is defeated and a people are enjoying the freedom from terrorism. If Mahinda is elected for the second term his sole focus will be on economy and more importantly the long time exploited work force under capitalist mechanism will rise for better working conditions in new Sri Lanka. Since the country is now free from terrorism, the people will demand economic and social freedom as well.
The cultural factor:
Mahinda is a leader with genuine cultural and social roots in our grounds. He will never promote artificial Western culture in our society. Mahinda’s cultural impact is going to affect the revenue from Coca Cola to KFC and from wheat flour to milk powder. Their selling is heavily depended on promoting Western culture in Sri Lanka. The West may have well assessed the impact of electing a president who endorses eastern culture on their revenue of selling range of items from imitation products to junk foods which dominate in capitalist economy!
An emerging leader with unique character:
Western political leadership clearly knows that Mahinda is naturally biased towards East and Asian neighbors than the West. They fear that Mahinda will rise in world politics as a radical leader having guts to challenge the evil policies of the West. He has some of the qualities of Putin of Russia, Chavez of Venezuela, Ahmadinejad of Iran and Castro of Cuba. Above all he has his own unique leadership qualities harnessed with our Sinhala Buddhist culture.
No wonder why West fears him. They should in deed!
How does West support the UNP-JVP-TNA ally's presidential candidate?
- Pumping money to INGO's that have their agent's in main stream media.
- Pumping money to INGO backed media organizations that operate in syber sphere.
- Use West's media supremacy (BBC, CNN, Telegraph, etc ) to promote Fonseka as a prospect winner (The Local INGO media organisations like 'LankaENews' and UNP proxy media like 'DailyMirror' are eager to republish those in local media) to create artificial 'Fonseka Surge' in Sri Lankan society
- Fund money to buy possible politicians (eg: Mussamil-Musthapa saga)
- Apply international pressure on government to destabalise (eg: Withdrawal of GSP+, War crime charges,, etc that were backed by local agent Fonseka's White flag statements etc..)
The nation decides
On 26 th January, the people of the country will decide if the nation is right behind this unique leader who can bring this country to great height in the world politics or fall back into Western trap of misery and terror by electing another capitalist puppet of the West.

Well said mate! This is the truth behind this whole episode of the emergence of Fonseka to contest in the presidential election against president Rajapaksha . The West and the Eelamist dearly want to get rid of Rajapaksha as they know very well that he has already shown all signs to be an iconoclast in the global political arena. Fonseka, Managala, UNP and JVP are just puppets of them. However, vast majority of people in SL have realized this and they will teach them a good lession on 26th. As you have rightly said the West with the help of I/NGO’s has been pumping a huge amount of money to Fonseka’s campaign as even can be seen by the sheer volume of anti-Rajpaksha campaign being unleashed in the SL’s blog sphere.

Yes, thiseems to make sense. one cannot rule out the act that all of this came to a boling point after SF's visit to USA.
The west just wants to teach us a lesson as they think we are aligning ourselves with China.
