On 18 th May 2009, the LTTE was militarily defeated and TNA was orphaned. Sambanthan and his political gang are now in pathetic state of frustration and envy. Revenge at any cost is their religion now.
The Fate of Tamil nation that endorse Fascism
We all witnessed the fate of Tamil nation that endorsed fascism over democracy in last three decades. Fascist leader Velupille Piripaharan was chosen to represent their aspirations. In their long time violent political combat, Tamil people themselves suffered most and they have ultimately gained nothing but misery. The majority of Tamil political leaders must account for this tragedy.
Natural tendency to favor fascism
TNA’s politics has always been based on hatred, blood, terror and arms. Being the political proxy of a fascist terrorist organization for long, the natural desire to endorse those negative qualities are now deep rooted in TNA. This is further aggregated by desire to revenge the political leadership that defeated their military wing.
The political instability - the breeding ground for terrorism
Their calculation is that Sarath Fonseka is a man without a political base and dependent on UNP, JVP, SLMC and Mangala Samaraweera. If Sarath wins they expect chaos in Sri Lanka with the newly elected President unable to control the Parliament. Being a military man who is known for his independence and taste for power, Sarath Fonseka would not tolerate a chaotic Parliament and would instead abolish Parliament, Judiciary and take over full dictatorial powers like General Musaraff.
In this eventuality, he would have to withdraw the Army from the North East and deploy the troops in the South to prevent unrest. In LTTE's calculations, that would be an opportune time to resurrect its fighting force and set up camps in North East to wage another round of terrorist war.
The invisible LTTE leadership hiding abroad is only bidding for time. Though LTTE is down, they are not completely out. They have the resources and they are slowly gathering the manpower from among the fanatic Tamilians in Southern India.
Revenge from Sinhala Nation – The suicide attack
TNA knows the consequence of supporting fascist leadership more than anyone else. It is only misery, blood and poverty that a fascist leader can bring to a nation. That’s why they have decided to support General Sarath Fonseka in the presidential election. TNA is well aware of character of Sarath Fonseka who is known for fascist and racist qualities. Therefore, they clearly know the risk of electing Sarath Fonseka as the president in Sri Lanka. Minority Tamil community can easily be the target of possible genocide under his fascist rule.
The evil wish
TNA seems thinking that just like Tamils became the great sufferers under Piripaharan, The majority Sinhalese will find the same fate under fascist leadership of Fonseka. They have opted for gambling by supporting the devil. It’s nothing but a suicidal mission of TNA. Both Tamils and Sinhalese must be mindful of possible consequences!

Very true. Very true. If Fontseka wins I might as well commit suicide as I have been thinking of since 2003. I plan to do so by February or March depending on whether Fontseka wins or not.
