Unlike UNP, JVP seem to be supporting General Sarth Fonseka unconditionally. If not be the common opposition candidate, JVP has so far shown enough interest in proposing General Sarath Fonseka as JVP’s common candidate (of caurse they will form a mock alliance to justify ‘common’ candidature).

The so called resignation letter of General Sarath Fonseka was first published in JVP proxy web site “Lanka Truth” on 13 Th November 2009. The ‘Lanka Truth’ dared to publish the resignation letter together with the Annex A that itself claimed to be confidential. When the dead body of LTTE terrorist leader Piripaharan was showed in the TV the whole Sri Lankan nation was jubilant and they walk into the streets to celebrate the victory. Piripaharan and his LTTE is no more. It symbolized the end of a dreadful nightmare and the beginning of a new era of peace in Sri Lanka. However, among the jubilant crowd, it was ironic to see a handful of strong sympethisers of the LTTE who once openly support LTTE terrorist’s separatist ideology.

When General Sarath Fonseka was hard battling with barbaric LTTE terrorism in the North, there was a group of devils (‘Mara Senawa’) in the South doing all possible things to undermine the great endeavor that we succeeded in return to sweat, blood and lives of thousands of our Great War Heroes.
