In 1956, then prime minister SWRD Bandaranayaka shed another tail of colonialism by abolishing English as official language. For local colonial agents (both Sinhalese and Tamil) of so called post independence era, that was a thunder on their head. One of the corner stone of enjoying undue privilege and socio-political supremacy by these lumpant comprador segment was the dominance of “English” as the official language of Sri Lanka. Mr. SWRD Bandaranayaka wanted to get this political power back on to the hands of common people of the country. Therefore, he took a courageous decision to abolish “English” as official language. The lumpant comprador segment misinterpreted that as making “Sinhala Only”. This video clip shows the genuine intent of Mr. SWRD Bandaranayaka.

Special principle of relativity: If a system of coordinates K is chosen so that, in relation to it, physical laws hold good in their simplest form, the same laws hold good in relation to
any other system of coordinates K' moving in uniform translation relatively to K.
Albert Einstein: The foundation of the general theory of relativity, Section A, §1

Heisenberg uncertainty principle:
"The measurement of position necessarily disturbs a particle's momentum, and vice versa"
What The Buddha told 2500 years ago:
"All is impermanent. And what is the all that is impermanent?" (SN 35.43/vol. iv, 28)"Whatever is subject to origination [samudaya] is subject to cessation [nirodha]" (MN 56)
What does the greatest Scientist and mathematician of twentieth century said about religion?
"The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend personal God and avoid dogma and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things natural and spiritual as a meaningful unity. Buddhism answers this description. If there is any religion that could cope with modern scientific needs it would be Buddhism."
- Albert Einstein
"Buddhism has the characteristics of what would be expected in a cosmic religion for the future: It transcends a personal God, avoids dogmas and theology; it covers both the natural and the spiritual, and it is based on a religious sense aspiring from the experience of all things, natural and spiritual, as a meaningful unity."
- Albert Einstein
Morale of the story:
When westerners getting closer to the truth (so called science), they are developing weapons of mass destruction using those findings new findings.
The Eastern culture had known these concepts for thousands of years and yet lived in harmony with the nature for long time.
