The 90 % of advertisements in Sri lankan TV channels assume that Sri Lankan consumers are petty ignorant people. They try to exploit ignorance, passion and jealousy of the people.
However, there are few advertisements that are based on our cultural roots. We should salute and promote those creative advertisers and also companies that take service of them.
Most of the advertisements (sort of marketing terrorism) make knowledgeable viewers unrest and annoyed. But advertisements like these make you better person.
