Collapse of Dialog telekom through consumer's eye

What really happened to Dialog? They cashed in when there was no proper competition. Although there were multiple private owned mobile companies, they were happy to exploit Sri Lankan mobile users through collective agremnts on high tarif rates.

It all started to change when Thilanga Sumathipala took over the chairman post of SLT. He took back Mobitel back into government control and reduced the rates drastically. At last Sri Lankan mobile useres got fair deal. By the time Dialog has pumped billions of natioal wealth out of the country.

Then Airtel came into the party. Now Mobitel already playing key role, Airtel had to enter into the market with very attractive packages and sri Lankan mobile users again geting the benifits of fair competition.

Dialog that was once enjoying high profits in favourable conditions are no longer making profits. They exploited Sri Lankan consumers at hay days. Now all dialog consumers are very happy to leave Dialog.

ඩයලොග් එකට පයින් ගහලා ගත්තා Airtel එකක්. FUP අරව මේව්වා. සිග්නල් ප්‍රශ්ණ එකක්වත් නෑ. ඒක කොච්චර සිම්පල් ප්ලෑන් එකක්ද. :D හරි ඔව් ඉතින් අද Airtel එකට කඩේයනව තමා. ඉතින් මොකෝ. :P

මුල සිට කතාව කියන්නම්. ඔන්න ඩයලොග් එකේ මාස 6 ඉවර වෙන දවට කලින් දවසේ ගියා කොල්ලුපිටියේ Airtel එකට. රැ 500ට වඩා සතයක්වත් ගත්තේ නෑ. සල්ලි දුන්නා සිම්එක ගත්තා. කලින්ම ගයන්ත ගේ බ්ලොග් එකේ තිබුනු විදියට Huawei මොඩම් එක අන්ලොක් කරලා තිබ්බේ. (ගොඩක් අය මේකට ඩොන්ගල් එක කියලා කියනවා හැබැයි මම දන්න විදියටනම් මොඩම් එකක්. මටත් පුරුද්දට වගේ ඕක කියවෙනවා ඒ වුනාට.) එතන තවත් එ‍ක් අයෙක් ඇවිත් හිටියා broadband කනෙක්ෂන් එකක් ගන්න. හික්! මිනිහත් අපි වගේ ඩයලොග්වලින් Airtel වලට මාරු වෙන්න ආපු කෙනෙක්, අන්ලොක් කරගෙනම ඇවිත් තිබ්බා. ගෙදර ගෙනල්ලා බැලුවා වේගය එහෙම කොහෙමද කියලා 512kbps වඩා එහා යන්න අමාරු වුනා. එත් ඉතින් අන් ලිමිටඩ්නේ කියලා හිත හදාගත්තා. වටිනම සිද්දිය ගේ ඇතුලටත් ෆුල් HSDPA සිග්නල් තිබිමයි. තව දුරටත් මොඩම් එක ජනේලේ එලියට දැමීමට අවශ්‍ය නෑ.

ඊල‍ඟ දවසේ ගියා dialog එක සිම් එක රිටන් කරන්න. මම ගියේ මැයි 18 වෙනිදා. හරියටම මාස 6 ඉව‍ර වෙන දවසේ. හපොයි ඩයලොග් එකට ගිය කළ. මම HSDPA connection එක ගන්න ගියපු දවසේ මට පැයක් පමණ ඉන්න වුනා. අද එතන හිටපු එකම පාරි‍භෝගිකයා මම. මට ඩයලොග් ගැන සංවේග‍යකුත් ආවා. මොනා කරන්නද. (ඩයලොග් කාරයට ඒරාශ්ඨකයක්ද කොහෙද :D ). ගියපු ගමන් ටයි පොල්ලක් දාගත්ත හයේ හ‍තරේ තරුණයෙක් හිටියා. මිනිහා ආපු ගමන් අත්දෙක එකට තියලා ආයිබෝවන් කිව්වා නේ. මට හිතුනා වැරදි තැනකටවත් ආවද කියලා. මම මෑන්ට කිව්වා අපේ ගෙවල් පැත්තේ සිග්නල් නෑ. මේ මාස හය ඉවරවෙනකන් හිටියේ කියලා මේක ඩිස්කනෙක්ට් කරන්න කියලා.
